Define the family budget before the shortlist
A day-school fee, a residential package and a term-time boarding price describe different arrangements. Comparing them as headline numbers can mislead a family.
LEP considers the budget alongside age, language, curriculum and whether parents will relocate. We first establish educational suitability, then examine what sustaining that arrangement involves.
Understand the three routes
A Luxembourg day-school route combines tuition, a host family where needed and local coordination. Being based in Luxembourg allows LEP to discuss school and living arrangements for the same student together.
At Eerde, start with the relevant year’s tuition and board, then examine first-entry charges, holidays and additional support. Our Eerde fee guide explains the structure; LEP follows up with the school for the intended entry period.
In Switzerland, Chantemerle and Saint-Charles combine courses, residence and resources differently. Our comparison connects those differences with the student’s objectives.
Ask what additional spending achieves
Language support, tutoring, riding, music, equipment and transport may change an individual family’s total. Parent visits also belong in the household’s planning.
LEP brings these needs into the school discussion so additional spending has an identifiable purpose. A slightly lower headline price is less useful if course or living arrangements later need substantial changes.
Separate entry costs from continuation
Distinguish annual spending, one-off charges and deposits. Discuss the ability to continue for the full stage as well as the immediate payment deadline. Consider any scholarship against the school’s actual confirmation for the student, and keep original-currency figures for payment planning.
Discuss the service alongside school costs
Luxembourg school and host-family coordination is discussed according to the work needed. Other routes have their own published application arrangements, including LEP support for Eerde.
Send the intended year, English level, entry date, parental plans and an all-in annual range. LEP can then identify options worth pursuing and connect the application with accommodation. Discuss your plan with LEP.
