How LEP supports families
Lux Education Partners (LEP) is based in Luxembourg, helping families with European school selection, applications and local support.
LEP works directly with students and families on Luxembourg school applications and host-family arrangements, international boarding schools in the Netherlands and Switzerland, and Swiss undergraduate and postgraduate hospitality education. Support starts before arrival, with application documents, school liaison and coordination of documents required for student visa applications, and continues through the agreed arrival and local arrangements.
Before applying
You can contact LEP directly while your family is still abroad, including when parents will not accompany their child. We assess age, academic and language background, previous curriculum, budget and parental accompaniment.
Application documents and school liaison
We organise school reports and supporting documents against the school’s checklist, coordinate language versions and additional requirements, and liaise with admissions about assessments and interviews.
Student visa documentation
We help organise study-related documents and coordinate admission and accommodation evidence. Submission arrangements, residence routes and steps requiring the applicant’s personal involvement are confirmed for each case.
Accommodation and arrival
We coordinate suitable Luxembourg host-family arrangements; for Dutch and Swiss boarding schools, we clarify weekends, school holidays and guardianship separately.
Ongoing communication and future studies
We maintain the agreed liaison with the school, family and relevant local contacts, connecting this with curriculum choices and future study planning.
Who pays for LEP’s application support?
LEP provides Europe-based application support for partner schools. The schools pay for this support, so families pay no LEP application-service fee.
School applications, host-family matching and ongoing local support for children studying in Luxembourg are a separate paid service. We explain the scope and fees for each family.
Tuition, accommodation, meals, school registration and third-party charges remain payable.
Schools decide admissions; the relevant authorities decide visa and residence applications. Before work begins, we agree the scope and fees, including what LEP handles, what the family must complete personally and where third parties are involved.
Share the student’s age, current class, languages and academic background, preferred start date, annual budget and whether a parent will accompany them.
