What the MSc teaches
The programme is validated by Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. It covers hospitality operations and assets, international strategy, people, concept development, digital marketing and research, followed by a dissertation.

MSc or Graduate Diploma?
For a master’s degree, consider the MSc. IMI’s hospitality and culinary Graduate Diplomas are professional diplomas with 22-week study and optional internship arrangements. They address a different aim.
Someone needing a postgraduate degree for further applications should assess the MSc qualification. A restaurant operator wanting practical kitchen training should compare the culinary content directly. Purpose determines qualification and duration.

The total includes the course tuition, but food and accommodation cover a 22-week campus period. Dissertation living arrangements, optional practice, travel and insurance are budgeted separately. Awarded partner benefits are then reflected in actual payments.
Make previous experience useful in the new field
We consider how existing study or employment can transfer, whether English supports discussion and research, and the target market and role. Sales, projects or operations experience may help a transition; a new graduate needs particular attention to practice.
