School information is easy to find. When a family needs direct discussion with school leadership, a host family or someone who can attend a meeting locally, established relationships and practical execution become decisive. LEP is rooted in Luxembourg.

I live and run a business here
I am James Liu, founder of Lux Education Partners. My judgement comes from living and operating a business in Luxembourg, visiting schools and maintaining relationships with families and local companies. In a small country where reputation matters, trust is earned through repeated work.
Families working with LEP gain access to the relevant parts of the local network we have built. We connect suitable people and resources to the child’s needs and the family’s longer-term plans.
Direct, continuing access to school leadership
I can speak directly with the principal of St George’s, hold in-depth discussions and stay in touch. We discuss education, the child’s circumstances and the resources or year placement that may be appropriate.
In our urgent case, the family engaged us on 7 September and the school scheduled a 16 September start. I accompanied the child to the trial, coordinated documents and accompanied the host family to school. The principal’s prompt involvement helped the case move, while teachers’ feedback and collective assessment remained essential.
Specific benefits of an established relationship
St George’s has offered a three-day free trial for students working with LEP. For Chinese pupils, our discussions also covered additional language support and a learning buddy. The principal’s experience living in China helps inform these conversations. Support is discussed for the actual child, rather than assumed from nationality.
Independent judgement from visits
At OTR, I saw a French support class with one teacher and four or five pupils and experienced the warmth of the staff. At St George’s, visitor registration reflected a professional approach to safety and academic expectations were clear. ISL’s facilities and activities were strong, but its responses to particular Chinese-family concerns differed from those of the other two schools in my conversations. I tell families what I observed, including differences that affect suitability.
School, budget and the child’s local home
We use the Yushufang family decision framework (玉书房家庭决策体系) to discuss interests, demonstrated strengths, potential, budget and direction. For younger children, language and development matter; for secondary pupils, future undergraduate study and subject choices become central. Residence and longer-term family plans may require coordination with SBMG.
ISL, St George’s and OTR are day schools. If parents remain abroad, LEP can help match a host family and coordinate the child’s local arrangements as well as the application. We also organise school visits each quarter, with professional local accompaniment.
A relationship worth maintaining
We assess the child, match suitable schools and countries, support development and earn trust through results. Schools need well-matched pupils; families need a workable path; local companies and networks become relevant as young people explore their future. That long-term relationship is why we take recommendations seriously.
Luxembourg services involve substantial local work and are paid. Tell us your child’s stage, languages, intended start and whether parents will move. We will set out the appropriate scope and fee before starting.
