Look beyond one school year
I look at how long the family expects to fund education here and how that affects later university choices. Two children at school, a parent moving countries or a child needing a host family will produce very different budgets. A higher fee is worthwhile only when it buys the curriculum and support the child actually needs.
ISL is generally the most expensive of these three in this comparison; OTR is lower. That does not decide suitability. Language development, academic expectations and the child’s ability to use the school’s resources matter alongside the cost.
Host families and local services
ISL, St George’s and OTR are day schools. If parents do not live in Luxembourg, host-family arrangements and local support need their own budget. LEP helps bring school choice and the child’s local living arrangements into the same plan.
Financial support and LEP fees
Do not assume that scholarship arrangements associated with Swiss hospitality colleges apply to Luxembourg schools. St George’s publishes a limited Assisted Places scheme; its conditions need individual consideration.
