César Ritz Colleges Switzerland (CRCS) deserves attention if a student wants to manage a business, join a family enterprise or become an entrepreneur. Its strengths include specialised business pathways, an emphasis on data and management analysis, and Swiss federal institutional accreditation.
Within SEG, SHMS focuses on hospitality, events and design; HIM combines a three-year business degree with three internships; Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland specialises in culinary arts and food business. The business management degree offers six specialisations: Executive Leadership, Marketing and Communication, International Finance, Business Analytics, Digital Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Applied AI is a separate bachelor’s programme, with its first intake planned for October 2027.
Both complete undergraduate routes take four years and include two internships. The first year develops foundations in service operations, languages and professional practice before the main business curriculum. Students with relevant study or work experience can ask LEP to arrange an assessment by the school for a possible first-year exemption.
I value the combination of working with people and understanding costs, profit and data. Interpersonal ability is an advantage; business management also requires training. That is why I discuss CRCS with families interested in business education.

A 15-month MSc in Leadership with three specialisations
The MSc in Leadership takes 15 months and offers:
- Hospitality and Tourism Management: management of hotels, tourism and service businesses.
- Finance and Wealth Management: finance and wealth management.
- Luxury Brand Management: brand management and high-end customer experience.
The course combines leadership, finance, marketing and strategy, including a dissertation stage. It suits graduates who want to develop their business management knowledge. Students from families running hotels, restaurants or other service businesses can also bring real company questions into their project work.
Swiss accreditation and plans after graduation
CRCS holds institutional accreditation under Switzerland’s federal legal framework as a University of Applied Sciences Institute. It also appears on the university list for Hong Kong’s Top Talent Pass Scheme. Families considering that route need to check the bachelor’s degree and the relevant application category.
Eligible graduates from outside the EU/EFTA can remain in Switzerland for six months after graduation to seek work related to their studies; employment still requires the appropriate permission. For students who hope to work in Europe, LEP considers study, internships, employment recommendations and residence arrangements together.

These figures include tuition, accommodation and meals during the specified on-campus periods, and related services, before scholarships. Allow separately for a CHF 2,000 deposit and living costs outside the included periods. LEP will confirm fees for the Applied AI bachelor’s directly with the school.
